How To Stay Fit On The Go

These tips will help you stay active during your travels - stay strong and motivated!

  1. Set 10 minutes aside.  Even a quick workout is great!  Here are some ideas:
    • Try doing just one workout circuit!
    • Take a walk around the block as you settle into your surroundings.
    •  Find a set of stairs and do them 5-10 x’s.

  2. Aim for 3 days a week.  Don’t have it in you to workout every day, no problem. Just a few days of exercise will transform you mentally and physically.

  3. Bodyweight Exercises.  Embrace the power of your own body.  Pushups, squats, lunges, burpees (my fav!), and planks can be done anywhere, anytime, without equipment.

  4. Active Movement.  Plan activities that involve movement.  Walk or bike, stairs instead of elevator, actively explore the area on foot or go for a hike.
