Happy Wednesday! There was a time in my life when my world felt upside down. I was running ragged day to day and by the end of my day, I was drained and exhausted. I would fall into bed, just to get up and do it all over again. I didn’t like who I was or how I was feeling. Emotionally I was spiraling out of control. Mentally my world was filled with chaos. Physically, my stomach ached and I had headaches all the time. Worse yet, I didn’t like my body. I felt frumpy, bloated, and I wasn't in shape. I was hitting the gym, but the workouts weren’t helping. I tried restricting my calories and eliminating foods from my diet. Nothing was helping. In fact, I felt worse. Until one day, I had a revelation that shifted everything for me. What I was doing wasn’t working. I realized that I was so STRESSED – and that STRESS was the driver of everything. My emotional eating, my mood swings, and my fatigue. Stress is a hormonal trigger – and the body will do what it takes to protect itself. Once I got that everything started to shift! I realized that stress was the #1 thing holding me back from achieving my weight loss goals. As I shifted my mindset acknowledging this – my body started to change and I started to feel better.
