Happy Wednesday! I hope you’re having a good week and that you’re taking great care of your body on all levels! Remember it’s important to do your best to take care of your body – the only place you have to live. This is why I like to follow an 80/20 rule and that means eating nutrient-dense foods 80% of the time and allowing a few indulgences 20% of the time. This is a lifestyle habit that I have created for myself over the years and I love how it makes my body feel. I don’t believe in diets because although they may work in the short term, they don’t set you up for success in the long term and they feel restrictive. Remember you don’t have to eat “perfectly” every day to be healthy. But focusing on getting the nutrients that your body needs most of the time will help! Those of you that know me, know that I am all about Protein + Fiber + Greens!! Among all the other whole goodness foods I eat. With that in mind, here’s my favourite green power smoothie recipe that you can make to quickly boost your intake of protein, greens and fiber! 💚GREEN Power Smoothie 1 serving Vanilla Protein Powder 1/2 cup frozen banana 1/2 cup frozen pineapple 1 Scoop Spirulina Greens or greens of your choice Handful Spinach 1/2 avocado 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, add more or less depending on consistency Blend and enjoy! 💚YUM!!!! Enjoy! Lemme know if you give it a try! Do you have a spring plan? If you are needing some guidance to figure this out – let’s book a free call.

Happy Wednesday! What if we actually stop running ourselves into the ground overtraining, overworking, and overthinking?! What if we could put in the work in less time and be more efficient? What if we could strike a balance and have more energy? I’m here to tell you that it IS possible!! You’re never too old and it’s not too late. Our bodies need proper fuel from whole foods, regular meals, good sleep and balanced training to create an optimal hormone state that supports our body, not put more stress on it. Things that we have learned or been taught aren’t necessarily the answers. Like low carb or no carb diets.. carbs aren’t the enemy (that’s for another day). So many of us have had to learn this the hard way. But experience is a good teacher! You don’t have to drive yourself into the ground exercising every day. And you deserve to eat!!! More workouts and less food do not equal more results. Do you have a spring plan? If you are needing some guidance to figure this out – let’s book a free call.

Click here to setup a free consultation call! For a Stronger, Healthier YOU. xo Michele Bischof Happy Wednesday! One of the things I’m passionate about is staying healthy over time. Training and taking care of ourselves not only for right now or a short-term goal, but for a long, healthy life in a strong body we love. Ironically, one of the most important aspects of this “training” piece isn’t the physical training at all…. It’s how we surround our training with rest and good sleep, how we nourish ourselves with whole foods, and how we manage our daily stress with a practice that supports our mental health. There will be times when things come up and throw you off track. Times when you can’t keep up your exercise routine. Or you can’t get the sleep you crave. Or you go through an unexpectedly stressful event. This is when we need to remind ourselves that it’s about PROGRESS OVER PERFECTION And doing something is better than doing nothing at all as we work towards our goals. Choosing progress over perfection promotes a healthy mindset with opportunities for positive learning and performance, and fosters healthier connections with ourselves and our body. So don’t rush the process. Slow down. Befriend your body and listen to its wisdom as you pace yourself. We’re in it for the long haul after all - let’s enjoy the process and learn as much as we can along the way! Check out my Wellness Wednesday video to hear more!

One of the most beautiful transformations that I get to witness is when I see my clients’ efforts pay off and they start to notice their bodies changing as they work towards their goals. But I often hear about people getting excited about their commitment to change and they start a new program and about four weeks in to it, they lose their motivation to keep going because they don’t see the changes they desire. Today’s topic is about having patience with the process. Let’s take our bodies for example... Your body needs to take its own time to make progress, and the best thing you can do is pace yourself so you can stay consistent. Sometimes, especially when we start a new year, we go too hard and too fast and that only sets us up for burn out and sets us back. Remember the metabolic processes our bodies undergo take place first on the inside before we can see the results on the outside. AND change happens over time with consistency. Consistency to keep showing up, doing the things and working towards your goals. Our job is not to judge ourselves constantly, but to love and encourage ourselves consistently as we respect the process of being a work in progress. Let’s reset to be smarter, and remove unrealistic expectations from ourselves so we can love our bodies on their journey and avoid the pitfalls of beating ourselves up mentally for “failure to perform.” Remember to enjoy the process! Leave me a heart ❤️ if this resonates with you! Check out my Wellness Wednesday video to hear more!

Let's be real here, you're not always going to feel motivated so it's important to learn how to tap into your inner self to unleash motivation when your not feeling it. I get asked this question a lot.. "How do you stay motivated?" My answer is simple, motivation is not something you find, it's something that you create. And so today, I'm want to share with you 3 important things that can help you increase your motivation. First, take the pressure off. We often lack motivation because we think we have to do everything overnight. This can lead to overwhelm. Instead, do one small thing everyday that leads you towards your bigger goals and you will stay motivated. My next tip is all about being your highest or best self. If it feels easy, fun, and natural then it will move the needle and if it’s not, then it’s taking me out of motivation and it’s blocking me. And my last tip.. I measure my success in whatever I’m doing by how much fun I’m having. If I'm successful, I’m doing something that motivates me. Motivation comes from JOY so lean into that. The more joy you experience, the more motivation you will have. Hope these tips help you! Check out my Wellness Wednesday video to hear more!

Let's just start by saying you are AWESOME!! I see you working hard, making it happen - through all the ups and downs - holding your head up, staying true to yourself, and staying strong. But sometimes we all have those days when we could use an extra boost of self-confidence. In those moments, I want you to remember that you are… amazing, worthy, capable, strong, beautiful, truly a unique being. When you stand, stand tall. When you hold your head up, hold it up high with confidence. Even when you may not be feeling confident, it will feel so amazing to be brave even if just for a few seconds! And you send a strong message to the Universe that you've got it! Keep repeating this until it becomes habit. Everyone is on their own journey. Don't compare yourself to anyone else. Remember that fear paralyzes you, but comparison steals your soul. Move through and past your fear and do it any way! In a world where you can be anything, just be yourself! Self-confidence is a super power. Once you start believing in yourself, magic starts happening!! Check out my Wellness Wednesday video to hear more!
